Our choir are a real credit to our school!

04 Dec 2017

We have just received the following feedback from Glen-Yr-Afon House Hotel after our choir performed at the Christmas event this weekend. Well done everyone - you are a credit to our school and we are all super proud of you! 'I would just like thank you and Penygarn Primary School for your participation in our Festive Afternoon tea party yesterday afternoon. Of all the guests I managed to speak to they were all very positive with their comments regarding the choir and praised them for their superb performance. Those pupils that I had the chance to speak to were extremely polite and well-mannered – a real asset to the school. I had the pleasure of watching the performance and you could really see all the hard work that had gone into planning for the event which they should all be really proud of themselves. I particularly liked the use of inflatable saxophones for the final song which really ended their performance brilliantly! I was also glad that we were lucky enough to have a visit from Father Christmas yesterday and he was able to take the time to chat with all the children and from what I gather they had all been good boys and girls and went away with a gift. I do hope that they enjoyed themselves and I would really hope that they would like to join us again next year when we finalise our festive calendar for 2018 as they would be a credit to our calendar!'
